Established in 2017, Wavefront Asset Management (WAM) is a UK registered, and managed company. WAM is able to offer short to medium-term lease solutions to companies wishing to finance the acquisition of sustainable and environmental equipment. In some cases, this customers to ensure compliance with the growing list of environmental regulations (for example in the maritime industry). The current focus for WAM is the provision of leasing solutions supporting Ballast Water Management Systems (BWMS) and Exhaust Gas Cleaning Systems (EGCS), Wind-Assisted Power (rotors/sails), Carbon Capture and Shore Power (both on vessel and in port). We are also able to provide equipment financing for wider EPC and other environmentally sustainable land-based projects. Our experienced team brings long-standing expertise in the maritime, manufacturing and finance industries. Having built relationships with leading environmental equipment suppliers (OEM’s), the leasing products provided by WAM represent a partnership bridge that allows customers to meet their sustainability objectives and comply with relevant regulations whilst also preserving cash flow.

The Team
Kevin Swannack
Director (Finance)

Over 25 years’ experience of structured asset finance in the bank sector. Primary experience in lease finance of commercial shipping and marine technology, and the establishment of dedicated leasing entities from which to provided focused funding across a wide range of assets. Previously with HSBC, Price Waterhouse, Barclays Capital and National Australia Bank. Now runs boutique finance advisory firm Bailrigg Capital Limited and its Isle of Man ship leasing subsidiary, Bailrigg Leasing Limited.

Over 25 years’ experience within the Maritime industry, serving a diverse international client base on a wide variety of human resource, recruitment, technical and commercial shipping projects and assignments. Andy has global experience, a track record of developing business strategy, executing commercial activities and developing and leading high impact initiatives in major sector growth areas.
Dr Joe Thomas
Technical Consultant

A chartered Naval Architect and technical Managing Director with 40 years of experience and a broad range of maritime engineering and manufacturing skills gained in the UK and Internationally. The last 10+ years (with Hamworthy and Wartsila) has been spent leading product and business development in the emerging Ballast Water Management Systems market and parallel development of both Electro-Chlorination and UV treatment solutions to meet regulatory (IMO & USCG) and Classification Society requirements.
